Hans Christian Espenes has been a licensed real estate agent since 2007. Today he is head of sales and partner at PrivatMegleren Trondheim, selling homes in and around Trondheim — from apartments at Solsiden and Lade to detached houses at Byåsen, Singsaker and Ranheim.

His assignments also reach far beyond the city: holiday homes in Oppdal and Rennebu, and properties in Helgeland — in Mo i Rana, on Geitskjæret in Lurøy and an old wharf on Hamnøya in Rødøy.

Many know him from the TV3 series Boligjakten, where he was one of the presenters helping buyers find their dream home.

Espenes Holding AS, founded in 2010, is his holding company — its purpose is to own shares in real estate agencies. It is registered in Gjersvikgrenda, Rødøy.

Melkvika Heimgård — heritage sheep, hay racks and sea salt.

Together with Hanne Karstensen, Hans Christian runs the old farm Melkvika in Rødøy, just south of the Arctic Circle. Around a hundred heritage sheep graze the islands along the Helgeland coast, the hay is dried on racks, and salt is boiled from the sea outside the farm. In 2026 the farm’s cured leg of lamb won gold at the Norwegian championships for meat products.
